Chief Financial Officer of Zain Group since June 10, 2010, State of Kuwait.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of Zain Saudi Arabia , Zain Charlotte, Nexgen Consulting Group, Zain Procurement, Zain Sudan Limited, Atheer Iraq Limited, and Al Khatem Communications Company.

He has 20 years of experience in the financial and administrative fields in the Middle East region.

He has held various positions in Zain Group since joining it in 2004, where he served as Group CFO for the Middle East and supervised the Group’s operations in Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Sudan. He also served as CFO for Zain in Kuwait in 2007, and CFO for the Group’s operations in Lebanon, MTCC Touch.

He held the position of Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Saudi Arabia and Lebanon between 1999 and 2004, Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche in the United States of America and Saudi Arabia between 1995 and 1999, and Financial Accountant at the Central Fund for Displaced Persons in Lebanon between 1994 and 1995.

He holds a Master’s degree in Finance, Strategic Management and Project Management from the American University of Beirut in 2007, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the same university in 1994, and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate from the Oregon Board of Accountancy in the United States of America in 1998.
