He is a Chartered Accountant qualified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

He held several positions at Qatar Chemical Company, including: Executive Director of Strategy between March 2016 and June 2017, Chief Financial Officer between June 2011 and February 2016, Director of Accounting and Reporting between January 2010 and May 2011, Head of Budget and Reporting between April 2005 and December 2009, in addition to his work as Director of Accounting at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company in Doha between September 2001 and March 2005.

He has over 25 years of experience in strategy, risk management, finance, accounting and auditing.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1992 from the University of Kerala, India.
