He has been Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Awsaj Academy in Qatar since 2009.

He held the position of Executive Director of Gas and Power at Qatar Petroleum International, CEO of Hassad Food Company, Chairman of the Board of Directors of South Hook Gas Company in the United Kingdom between 2011 and 2013, and was a member of the Board of Directors of Adriatic Terminal Company in Italy between 2010 and 2013, the Executive Committee of Qatar Chemical Company “Q-Chem II” between 2007 and 2011, and the Management Committee of Dolphin Energy Limited between 2009 and 2013.

He held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors and Member of the Executive Committee of the Gas Manufacturers Association in the GCC Branch between 2008 and 2013, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Abdullah Bin Turki Independent School between 2013 and 2015.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
