He was appointed a member of the bank’s Board of Directors on July 26, 2020.

He held the position of CEO and Managing Director of “ Afaq Islamic Finance Company .”

He joined the National Bank of Abu Dhabi in 1994, where he held the position of Head of Audit and Control. He later assumed the duties of General Manager of the Local Banking Sector, then served as Executive General Manager for Government and Major Client Relations in the Emirates between 2013 and 2017. He was also a member of the Board of Directors. National Bank of Abu Dhabi Securities” is the bank’s brokerage arm.

Before joining the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, he worked in the Banking Supervision and Audit Department at the Central Bank of the Emirates and was a bank inspector in the same bank between 1987 and 1994.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Accounts in 1987 from the United States of America.
