Senior Advisor to the “ Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi ” since 2018, United Arab Emirates.

He is the founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of SAS Consultancy Company in Dubai since January 2019, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority .

He served as Acting Director General at the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority between 2016 and 2018. He also held many positions at the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company “ Taqa ”, including CEO of the Energy Solutions Sector, Vice President for Technology Operations and Innovations in the Oil and Gas Sector, and responsible for developing initiatives. And projects related to alternative energy, and a member of the Board of Directors between 2017 and 2019.

He supervised the launch of several projects, including the “Noor Abu Dhabi” project, the largest independent solar energy station in the world. He also held a number of technical and administrative positions at the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company “ ADNOC .”

He was awarded the degree of Professor of Engineering on July 12, 2023 by the University of Bolton in the United Kingdom, as the first Emirati to be awarded this degree.

He holds a doctorate in petroleum engineering from Imperial College London in the United Kingdom, a master’s degree in petroleum engineering and geosciences from the French Petroleum Institute in France, and a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Tulsa in the United States of America.
