Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah National Insurance Company “RAK Insurance” , United Arab Emirates.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Cement Company since April 22, 2021, the National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah (RAKBank) , and the Dubai International Financial Centre Authority since October 18, 2020, a member of the Board of Trustees of the American University of Ras Al Khaimah , and the Ras Al Khaimah University of Medicine and Health Sciences, and a director at the Dubai International Financial Centre Investments Company .

He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zantel in Tanzania, and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Dubai International Financial Centre , Mobily in Saudi Arabia, Sudatel Telecom Group in Sudan, EMTS in Nigeria, and Atlantique Telecom in West Africa.

He worked for 23 years at Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat) , where he rose to senior leadership positions and ended his service as Chief Financial Officer at the corporation. He previously worked as an advisor to Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the United Arab Emirates University .
