Head of Global Markets, First Abu Dhabi Bank Group, since June 2, 2023, United Arab Emirates.

He has been Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Abu Dhabi Subscription Fund since October 2022, and a member of the Board of Directors of both WU Bank since 2022, and Etihad Export Credit Company since April 2022.

He has over 15 years of experience in the banking and financial sector.

He previously held a number of positions, including:

• Director General of Economic Affairs at the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development .
• Executive Director of the Executive Affairs Office at the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development between 2020 and 2022.
• Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Association of Entrepreneurs .
• Deputy Director General at Abu Dhabi Investment Office between February and August 2020.
• General Manager of “ CAP M Investment Company ” between 2019 and 2020.
• Head of Commercial Banking Group at Dar Al Tamweel Company between 2017 and 2019.
• CEO of First Abu Dhabi Bank in Hong Kong.
• General Manager of Banking Services at First Abu Dhabi Bank for North East Asia between 2015 and 2017.
• Associate Director, Financial Institutions and Global Markets at Standard Chartered Bank in Dubai between 2004 and 2006.

He also held several positions at National Bank of Abu Dhabi before merging it with First Abu Dhabi Bank, including: Director of the Risk Management Group between 2014 and 2015, General Manager of Institutional and Corporate Coverage between 2013 and 2014, Director of Institutional Sales in the Global Markets Sector between 2007 and 2013, and Head of Investment Banking between 2006 and 2007.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations in 2002 from Rollins College in the United States of America.
