He is a consultant pediatric cardiologist at the Saudi German Hospital, Emirates Hospitals Group, Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group, Mediclinic City Hospital, Mediclinic Parkview Hospital, and Aster Mankhool Hospital.

He has more than 25 years of experience in the field of pediatric cardiology, in addition to being a co-founder of the Pulse Initiative for Treating Children's Hearts.

He obtained a Master's degree in Cardiology from the Royal Brompton Hospital in the United Kingdom in 2002, a Diploma in Child Health from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1992, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the same college in 1990.
