Chairman of the Board of Directors of Virgin Hyperloop One since 2018, United Arab Emirates.

He has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dubai International Chamber since 2021. He is also a member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai , the Dubai Free Zones Council , and a board member of the Dubai Chambers since June 26, 2021, the Federal Tax Authority, and Hyperloop One in Dubai.

He held a number of positions, including:

• CEO of DP World .
• Chairman of the Board of Directors of " DP World " between 2007 and 2026.
• Chairman of the " Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation ".
• Chairman of the " Dubai Maritime Authority ".

He founded Nakheel Properties and Investment Corporation International , oversaw the development of Jebel Ali Free Zone, served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai World Group , was a member of the Board of Directors of Noor Bank , and a member of the Dubai Economic Council .

In 2008, Middlesex University Dubai awarded him an honorary doctorate.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Temple University in the United States of America.
