Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Emaar Properties " since December 10, 2020, United Arab Emirates.

He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Emaar Misr for Development " representing " Emaar Properties " since November 13, 2012 in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and a member of the Board of Directors of " Emaar Development ".

He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of " Emaar Economic City Company ", Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the same company, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of " Emaar Development Company ".

He also held several positions at DP World , including: Vice Chairman of the Board, Non-Executive Board Member, and CEO of the Ports and Free Zones World Group, the holding company of DP World. He joined Port Rashid Authority in 1981, and served as Managing Director of Dubai Ports Authority and Assistant Managing Director of the same authority.

He served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of " Global Investment Company " and was a member of the Board of Directors of " Etihad Rail Company ".

He received the Seatrade Maritime Award for Outstanding Achievement in 2007, the Outstanding Achievement Award from the International Cargo Handling Association, and the Person of the Year Award at the Lloyds List Awards ceremony in 2005.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the United Arab Emirates University .
