Executive Vice President of Primary Production Operations at Emirates Global Aluminum Company since March 2016, United Arab Emirates.
He is responsible for investment projects in the company itself, and is an advisory member of both the College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at the United Arab Emirates University and the Rochester University of Technology in Dubai. He served as Senior Vice President of Capital Projects at Emirates Global Aluminium , Director of Engineering Expansion and Technology Development at Dubai Aluminum Corporation (DUBAL) , Project Manager for the first and second phases of the Emirates Aluminum Company (Emal) plant, and Vice President of Projects at the same company.He was also a member of the Society of Chartered Engineers in the United Kingdom, and the editorial board of Quality magazine and World of Engineering.
He has 30 years of technical, managerial and leadership experience in the aluminum industry sector.
He received a fellowship from the International Institute of Engineering and Technology, a project management specialist certificate from the BMI Institute in the United States of America, and a specialist engineer certificate from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology.
He holds an Executive Master of Business Administration in 2004 from the American University of Sharjah , and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 1985 from the University of Colorado in the United States of America.
