He is also a member of the “Dubai Executive Council Committee for Infrastructure and Environment”, and a member of the “Supreme Council Energy” in the Emirates. He holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Aluminum Council, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority . He held the position of CEO and Managing Director of Emirates Global Aluminum Company between 2014 and 2020, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates Aluminum Company (EMAL). Upon graduation, he joined Dubai Aluminum Company “DUBAL” in 1985 as a graduate trainee and quickly rose there to become the CEO of the company in 2005.
