Gulf International Bank - Saudi Arabia (GIB Saudi Arabia) is a full-service commercial bank, fully regulated by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA). It was established in 2017 following the Saudi Cabinet’s approval to convert the existing Gulf International Bank branch in Saudi Arabia, which had been operating since 1999, into a locally incorporated commercial bank.

The bank offers a wide range of banking services, including corporate banking, investment banking, retail banking, asset management, debt and equity capital markets, financial advisory, mergers and acquisitions, and Sharia-compliant digital banking services through its ‘Meem’ platform. The bank is jointly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and the parent Gulf International Bank.

Headquartered in the Eastern Province, the bank has branches in Jeddah and Riyadh, serving clients across the Kingdom. This strategic move positions the bank as a significant player in the Saudi banking sector, combining global expertise with a deep understanding of the local market.
