The Emirates Group was established in 1959 in the United Arab Emirates. It is an international tourism and travel company wholly owned by the Government of Dubai and comprises a group of subsidiaries, including Emirates, dnata, Emirates SkyCargo, Emirates Flight Catering, Transguard Group LLC, Emirates Leisure Retail LLC, Dunya Travel L.L.C., Emirates Leisure Retail (Australia) Pty. Ltd., Maritime and Mercantile International LLC, The High Street Llc.
Its subsidiaries also include Emirates Hotels and Resorts, Emirates Aviation University, Emirates Leisure Retail (Singapore), Premier Inn Hotels L.L.C, among others.
