He served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Dubai Islamic Bank between December 2010 and June 2013, and Head of Retail Banking at the same bank between 2008 and 2010.

He has over 30 years of experience in the field of Islamic banking and finance.

He was ranked among the "Most Powerful CEOs in the Middle East for 2022" by " Forbes Middle East Magazine ".

He holds a PhD and Master's degree in Marketing, and a Bachelor's degree in Islamic Banking and Islamic Insurance from the American University in London, in addition to a Certified Islamic Banker (CEIB) certificate.
