He held a number of positions at Majid Al Futtaim Properties, including: Chief Financial Officer between 2016 and 2023, where he was responsible for developing the finance function and overseeing financial health, risks and compliance practices.

Prior to joining Majid Al Futtaim, Ahmed served as Chief Financial Officer at Orascom Development Holding Group from 2012 to 2013, and also worked at Al Ahram Beverages and Procter & Gamble.

He holds a BA in Arts from Helwan University in Egypt.
