He was Undersecretary and Advisor at the same department, Executive Vice President of the Asset Management and Infrastructure Development Division at the Higher Corporation for Specialized Economic Zones (ZonesCorp) between 2011 and 2015, Chief Advisor to the Industrial Strategies, Policy and Development Division at the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi between 2013 and 2014, and a Fellow at the John F. Kennedy School of Government in the United States between 2011 and 2012. He worked as the Director of the Region, Project Development and Strategy at the Higher Corporation for Specialized Economic Zones (ZonesCorp) between 2009 and 2011, Director of the Energy Projects Department at the Abu Dhabi Electricity and Water Authority (ADEWA) between 2006 and 2009, Project Manager at the same authority between 2004 and 2006, Project Engineer at Lahmeyer International between 2003 and 2004, and Design Engineer at the National Petroleum Construction Company between 2002 and 2003. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration in 2012 from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, and a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Management in 2007 from the American University of Sharjah .
