Executive Director of Exploration and Production Sector at Emirates National Oil Company “ENOC”, United Arab Emirates.

He has been CEO of Dragon Oil since 2017, and CEO of Abu Dhabi Offshore Operations Company “ADMA-OPCO” since 2006.

He chaired many international conferences, such as the “GEO” Conference in 2002, the “Eighth International Conference on Health, Safety and Environment” in 2006, and the “ADIPEC” Conference in 2006, 2008 and 2012.

He received many awards, including the Society of Petroleum Engineers Regional Service Award in 1992, and distinguished membership in the same society in 1999.

He holds a master’s degree in business administration from the International Institute for Management Development in Switzerland, a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Tulsa in the United States of America, and a certificate in public administration from Cranfield School of Management in the United Kingdom.
