Chief Executive Officer of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) , UAE. He is a member of the Supreme Energy Council and the Green Energy Council. He assumed the position of CEO and Board Member of Dragon Oil Company in 2017, and Chairman of Gulf Energy Marine Company (GEM) in 2016. He also held several positions in Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), most notably Executive Director of Environment, Health, Safety, Quality and Regulatory Affairs in 2011, and Group General Manager in 2008. In addition to holding the position of General Manager of ZADCO in the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) for twenty-five years, and a member of the Board of Directors of National Marine Services Company (NMS). He has over 37 years of experience in the energy sector, project management and petroleum asset evaluation operations, drilling and completion technologies, production operations, legal management, and corporate communications management. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1979 from the United Arab Emirates University , a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana Tech University in the United States of America, and a Fellowship from the Energy Institute in the United Kingdom in 2014.
