Anjo De Heus's Bio
Dr. Anjo De Heus is a international entrepreneur, FDI strategist and market-entry architect based in the United Arab Emirates and USA. He is the founder of 360Disruption, an international business development and execution platform focused on transforming foreign investment opportunities into commercially viable, locally established and scalable businesses His work centers on Services-Led Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) — an execution-focused approach that connects investment attraction with the practical steps required for companies to successfully enter and grow within new markets. Through 360Disruption, he works with international companies, investors, government-related entities, economic development organizations and business ecosystems to identify opportunities and develop practical pathways for market entry, commercialization, localization and industrialization. His approach follows a five-stage investment pathway:
Opportunity Discovery → Commercial Activation → Localization → Industrialization → Regional Scale
Rather than viewing FDI primarily as capital attraction, De Heus advocates an execution-driven model in which international companies are supported through the full process of establishing commercial activity, building local partnerships, navigating market requirements, developing local operations and ultimately creating measurable economic impact. A particular focus of his work is connecting European and North American companies with opportunities in the UAE and wider GCC, while also helping UAE-based initiatives identify international technologies, operating companies, strategic partners and investment opportunities. His activities span sectors including healthcare and health technology, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, logistics, infrastructure, technology and specialized services.
De Heus is also the founder of the Services-Led FDI initiative, through which he is developing frameworks and practical models for investment promotion agencies, chambers of commerce, economic development organizations and companies seeking a more execution-oriented approach to foreign direct investment. His broader objective is to help transform international business discovery into sustainable commercial activity, local capability, employment, investment and long-term economic value. He has more than three decades of international entrepreneurial and business-development experience across Europe, the United States and the Middle East.
