Director General of the Family Care Authority since December 2021, United Arab Emirates. She is the owner and founder of the Family Center for Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation since May 2015, and the Chairperson of the Family and Child Protection Committee in Abu Dhabi. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the National Rehabilitation Center . She held the position of Executive Director of the Community Development Sector at the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi between 2019 and 2021, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Union Insurance Company between 2019 and 2021, and was Director of the Department of Education and Social Affairs at the Prime Minister's Office between 2014 and 2019. She also held several positions at the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi , including: Acting Executive Director of the Monitoring and Innovation Sector, Director of the Integration and Social Care Department between 2012 and 2014, Director General of the Dubai Center for Child Development between 2009 and 2012, and Deputy Director of the same center between 2008 and 2009. She served as Head of the Newborn Screening Program at the Dubai Education Council between 2007 and 2008, worked as an ophthalmologist at the Dubai Health Authority between 2002 and 2007, at the Ministry of Health and Prevention between 1999 and 2001, and as a general practitioner at the Dubai Health Authority between 1997 and 1999. She holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management in 2008 from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and General Surgery in 1997 from the Dubai Medical College for Girls in the UAE.
