President of King Khalid University since November 7, 2024, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He served as Director of King Khalid University and as a member of the Board of Trustees of Fahd Bin Sultan University between 2013 and 2016.

He held several positions at King Abdulaziz University , including: Advisor to the Vice President for Educational Affairs between 2014 and 2016, Vice Dean of Graduate Studies for Programs and Development between 2002 and 2006, Professor in the Department of Mathematics between 2010 and 2016, Associate Professor in the same department between 2005 and 2009, Assistant Professor between 1998 and 2005, and Teaching Assistant between 1992 and 1994. He also served as a member of several committees at the university.

He held several positions at Tabuk University , including: Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research from 2010 to 2013, Acting Vice-Rector for Development and Quality from 2010 to 2011, Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research from 2007 to 2010, Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics from 2009 to 2010, and Associate Professor in the same department from 2007 to 2009.

He has held several positions at Jazan University , including Dean of Admissions and Registration, Acting Dean of the College of Science, Supervisor of the Computer Science Unit, Director of the Information Technology Center, Member of the University Council, Member of the Academic Council, and Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics.

He holds a PhD in Mathematics, specializing in Differential Geometry, from Swansea University in the United Kingdom in 1998, and a BS in Mathematics from King Abdulaziz University in 1992.
