He held a number of positions during his career, including:

• Director of Economic Competitiveness at the Ministry of Finance between 2019 and 2021.
• Vice President of Innovation and Business Development at Kongsberg in Qatar between 2018 and 2019.
• Founder and CEO of GrowthX from 2016 to 2017.
• Senior Technology Project Manager at JGC Corporation in Japan between 2010 and 2012.

He also held several positions at Qatar Energy , including: Marketing Manager for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) between 2014 and 2017, Head of Automation Systems and Marine Engineering between 2012 and 2014, Senior Automation Engineer between 1997 and 2010, and Instrumentation Technician between 1997 and 2000.

He founded several companies, such as Oryxnet, Lilac Landscape, Vision Development Project, and Mishwar.

He holds a Research Doctorate in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Operations from Kyoto University, Japan, in 2021, an Executive Master's in Business Administration and Management from HEC Paris, in 2017, a Master's in Project Management from Teesside University, UK, in 2011, and a Bachelor's in Electromechanical Maintenance and Measurement Technologies from Murdoch University, Australia, in 2003. He also completed the Executive Leadership Program at the Qatar Leadership Center in 2020.
