She has won many awards, and in April 2010 she became the first Arab woman to reach the North Pole on a ski trip.

She holds a Master of Science degree in 2005 from the London School of Economics and Political Science in the United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in Marketing, in 2004 from the American University in Dubai.
