Bayanat AI PLC was founded in the United Arab Emirates on February 4, 2008, and listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange on October 30, 2022. As a subsidiary of G42 Group, the company operates in the software and services sector, focusing on IT consulting and system integration services. Its subsidiary is Bayanat GIQ.
On October 1, 2024, a merger between Bayanat AI PLC and Yahsat Satellite Communications Company (Yahsat) was completed. As a result, Yahsat ceased to exist and all its assets and liabilities were transferred to Bayanat AI PLC, which was subsequently renamed Space42.
