He has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the same college since September 16, 2024, and Chairman of the College Council.

He previously held a number of positions, including:

• Director General of Imam Malik College of Sharia and Law between 2008 and 2011.
• Dean of Imam Malik College of Sharia and Law between 2002 and 2008.
• Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Endowments in the State between 1995 and 2006.
• Chairman of the “Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum Holy Qur’an Printing Committee” between 1997 and 2002.
• Director General of the Dubai Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Department between 1993 and 2002.
• Deputy Director General of the Department of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in Dubai between 1986 and 1993.
• Assistant Director General of the Dubai Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Department between 1982 and 1986.

Among his books: “Refuting the Fraud on the Permissibility of Sitting to Offer Condolences and Reading for the Dead,” “Achieving the Desired in Celebrating and Marking the Birth of the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him,” and “The Creed of Imam Al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir Al-Ash’ari, Believing in Al-Shafi’i’s School of Thought in the Verses on the Attributes and Other Important Issues Raised in Our Time.”

He obtained a PhD in Hadith Sciences in 2000 from Al-Qarawiyyin University, and a Master’s degree in the same specialization in 1993 from Kharouba University, in addition to obtaining a license in the Book and Sunnah in 1982 from Umm Al-Qura University .
