Before establishing the company, Al Bastaki founded the “Moon Hotel Consulting and Management Group,” which is considered an integrated center for solutions in the field of hotel and hospitality management strategies and services. It contributed to attracting international companies to manage many hotels in the country, including the international “Hyatt” hotels, represented by “Hotel Hyatt Regency Business Bay” in Dubai, which is under construction. It also contributed to attracting real estate investors to the region. Al Bastaki has nearly twenty years of experience in the government and private sectors, including asset and property management, hotels, tourism, travel and aviation for commercial air transport, as well as in organizing global events and occasions. He served as a member of the executive management in several government institutions, including the Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, as the executive director of the business unit. He also served as a member of the executive management as Executive Director of Real Estate at the Dubai World Trade Centre, and was also a member of the management team that helped establish and manage the Grand Hyatt Dubai Hotel, in his capacity as Executive Director of Protocol and Hospitality Management. Jassim Al Bastaki is the first Emirati citizen to graduate with a bachelor’s degree from the “College of International Hotel Management and Hospitality Industry” from the “University of Central Florida” located in Orlando, Florida, in the United States of America. Al Bastaki also holds an academic degree in financial management from the English Business School in the United Kingdom, and a higher diploma in asset and property management.
