He has 24 years of experience working in various sectors in the fields of financial management, operations management, communications and accounting, where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Shared Services at the Saudi Railway Company between 2013 and 2019, Financial Controller at the National Water Company between 2011 and 2013, and Financial Director at the Kuwait Telecommunications Company "VIVA" between 2007 and 2009.

He also held several positions at Saudi Telecom Company (STC), including Head of Planning, Reports and Budgeting for the Group between 2009 and 2011, Director of Financial Planning between 2003 and 2007, Financial Manager in the Mobile Phone Unit between 2002 and 2003, and Budget and Financial Planning Supervisor in the same unit between June and December 2001.

He was a teacher at King Saud University between 1995 and 2001.

He holds an MBA in 2000 from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas in the United States of America, and a BA in Financial Management from King Saud University.
