Advisor to the Board of Directors of the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology “Specifications” since May 4, 2014, United Arab Emirates.

He served as Secretary General of the “ International Forum of Halal Certification Bodies ” between 2016 and 2019, Director General of the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology “Specifications” between 2007 and 2014, and Deputy Director General of the same authority.

He was also a member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) between 2010 and 2014, and director of the Dubai Central Laboratory between 2004 and 2007.

He has 25 years of experience in the field of standardization and quality infrastructure.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering in 1988 from the University of Colorado Denver in the United States of America.
