He has more than 25 years of banking experience, as he served as General Manager and Head of Personal Banking and Wealth Management at Barwa Bank between 2017 and 2019 in Qatar, and Executive Vice President of the Personal Banking Group at Al Hilal Bank between 2008 and 2016 in Abu Dhabi. He also served as CEO of Ajman Bank, and held several positions at Arab Bank: Regional Head of Retail Banking Services in the Levant and North Africa between 2005 and 2007 in Jordan, and Regional Director of Retail Banking Services in Qatar, Bahrain and Yemen between 2003 and 2005 from its headquarters. The company is based in Doha, Qatar, and a corporate credit facilities employee between 1992 and 1999 in Doha. He began his career at Bank of America and Standard Chartered, where he served as Head of Sales between 1999 and 2003 in Qatar. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance in 1992 from Golden Gate University in the United States of America.
