Head of Electronic Banking and Information Technology Department at Dubai Islamic Bank since August 2013, United Arab Emirates. He works in the electronic banking operations unit to develop communication channels in the same bank since 2008. He worked at the “Dubai Ports Authority”, known today as “DP World”, between 1991 and 1999, where he headed the information technology department after being a support supervisor there. He rose through the ranks at Dubai Islamic Bank , where he was head of the Cards Business Unit between 1991 and 2001, then he became head of the Information Systems Department between 2001 and 2008, and served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Financial Market between 2013 and 2021. He has more than 20 years of experience in the technology sector. It won the “Best Project Award” for the year 2009, and the “Best Electronic Banking System Project Award,” which is unique in its kind at Dubai Islamic Bank . He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems in 1991 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in the United States of America.
