She served as CEO and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors at Al Barari Project, and previously supervised one of the region’s public offerings at Abu Dhabi National Energy Company ( TAQA ).

She has experience in developing, structuring and financing energy sector projects in the GCC region, where she initially worked at the Department of Economy in Dubai, and then at the Privatization Department of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, where she represented the Abu Dhabi government and its Privatization Department, and then became Head of the Project Finance Department.

She was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of both Taweelah Asia Power Company ( TAPCO ) and Al Barari Project.

Forbes magazine ranked her among the “100 Most Powerful Businesswomen in the Middle East” for 2023, and among the “100 Most Powerful Arab Businesswomen” for 2017.

She holds a BA in Economics and Politics from the University of London in the United Kingdom.
