He served as CEO of BW LPG from 2013 to 2015, Group CFO of Mechelen Express Offshore from 2009 to 2011, Chief Auditor and CFO of Philips Hong Kong from 1998 to 2006, Senior Internal Auditor of CSR in 1998, and Senior Auditor of KPMG Australia from 1991 to 1997.

He holds a Bachelor of Economics degree in 1992 from the Australian National University, an MBA in 2004 from INSEAD, and completed the Corporate Directors in Management course in 2017 from the Australian Institute of Corporate Directors.
