Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Costa Rica since 2022.

She held several positions at the UAE Embassy in London, United Kingdom, including: Deputy Head of Mission, and Head of the Political and Economic Affairs Department.

She held the position of Director of the American Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation , where she was responsible for bilateral relations between the UAE and the Americas, and was also the political coordinator for the United States file.

She worked as Head of the International Renewable Energy Agency ( IRENA ) Division in the Energy and Climate Change Directorate, and represented the UAE at IRENA meetings inside and outside the UAE, and helped lead the UAE negotiating team for the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20), and was a member of the team working on developing the UAE’s foreign and domestic sustainability policy.

She holds a Master’s degree in Public Diplomacy from the National Defense College , and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the United Arab Emirates University .
