President of Al-Azhar University since August 11, 2022, Arab Republic of Egypt.

He held several positions at Al-Azhar University, including: Head of the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector between 2021 and 2022, Dean of the Faculty of Arabic Language at Itay El-Baroud between 2019 and 2022, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Arabic Language at Itay El-Baroud between 2016 and 2019, Professor and Head of the Department of Rhetoric and Criticism at the same faculty, and Associate Professor at Umm Al-Qura University, Al-Qunfudhah Branch, between 2003 and 2014.

He has published a number of books and publications in local and Arab publishing houses, and has participated in numerous local, regional and international conferences.

He holds degrees from Al-Azhar University in Egypt, including a PhD in Rhetoric and Criticism in 1998, a Master's degree in the same field in 1993, and a Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language in 1989.
