Associate Professor of Political Science and International Relations

Dr. Al-Rashid is a distinguished academic figure in the field of political science and international relations, with over twenty years of experience in university teaching and scientific research. Throughout his academic journey, he has taught at several Syrian, Arab, and international universities, which has enriched his perspective and allowed him to develop a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of his field.

He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from the Lebanese University in 2010. Since then, he has held prominent academic positions in reputable educational and official institutions, contributing significantly to the advancement of academic practices and the development of relevant educational programs.

Dr. Al-Rashid has taught a wide range of foundational and advanced university courses, including: Introduction to Political Science, International Relations, Geopolitics, Political Thought, Arab–European Relations, Research Methodology, Political Economy, Public Administration, Foreign Policy Analysis, and Comparative Political Systems. He has also supervised numerous graduation projects addressing contemporary and advanced topics in political science and public policy, playing a key role in enhancing students’ research and analytical skills.
