Secretary-General of the United Nations Tourism Organization since May 2025, United Arab Emirates.

She is the first woman and the first Emirati to hold this position. She has also held the position of Vice President of Owner Relations at Rotana Hotel Management Company since October 2018.

She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Hotel Group, affiliated with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce , and a member of the HAMA Middle East and Africa branch.

She has over 15 years of experience leading tourism and hospitality sector initiatives both locally and internationally.

She held several positions at Rotana Hotel Management Corporation, including Director of Internal Audit from 2012 to 2018, and Executive Agent at Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas from 2016 to 2018.

She worked as an internal auditor at KPMG between 2010 and 2011, and as an assistant in the external and internal audit department at the same company between 2008 and 2011.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Zayed University in 2006.
