She held several positions in the Department of Municipalities and Transport , including Director of Quality and Institutional Excellence between 2022 and 2023, Director of Strategic Planning between 2019 and 2022, and Acting Director of Knowledge and Innovation between 2019 and 2021. She also held the position of Acting Executive Director of the Performance Management and Strategic Planning Sector at the Abu Dhabi City Municipality between 2021 and 2023, and was an evaluator in the Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program in 2023 and 2021.

She also worked at the Dubai Health Authority , including Corporate Excellence Advisor between 2018 and 2019, Director of Customer Happiness Department between April and July 2018, Director of Customer Relations Department between 2013 and 2018, Head of Audit and Risk Management Department between 2009 and 2013, Director of Employee Satisfaction Department between 2005 and 2009, Director of Human Resources Development between 2003 and 2005, and Administration Officer between 1999 and 2003.

She holds an MBA in 2009 from the University of Hull in the United Kingdom, a BA in Business Administration in 2003 from Ajman University, a Diploma in Innovation in 2017 from the University of Cambridge, and a Diploma in Technology and Business in 1998 from the Higher Colleges of Technology. She has also completed several training programs, including the UAE Government Executive Leadership Program at Duke University and the Middle East Health Leadership Program from INSEAD.
