Al Neyadi went into space aboard the SpaceX Dragon Endeavor on March 2, 2023, and participated in an extravehicular activity mission that included a spacewalk on April 28, 2023, making him the first Arab to participate in such an activity.

He holds a doctorate in information technology in 2016 from Griffith University in Australia, a master’s degree in information and network security from the same university, and a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications engineering from the University of Brighton in the United Kingdom.
