CEO of Oman Telecommunications Company “ Omantel ” since June 29, 2014, Sultanate of Oman.
He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Zain Group since October 15, 2017, Zain Saudi Arabia since May 9, 2023, Oman Centre for Governance and Sustainability , and Hope Investment Fund.
He served as a member of the Board of Directors of Worldcall Pakistan Telecommunications Company, Infoline Company and United Securities Fund.
Al Mamari began his career with Omantel in 1995, and has held a number of leadership positions, the last of which was Chief Financial Officer. During his career, he also helped in the legal merger of the company with Oman Mobile, in addition to Omantel’s acquisition of 21.9% of Zain Group.
Forbes Middle East ranked him among the “Most Powerful CEOs in the Middle East” for 2023 and 2021.
He holds a degree in Business Administration from Dixon University in the United States of America in 1997, and completed the Senior Executive Program in 2005 from London Business School.
