Head of the “State Security Department in Dubai” since March 2, 2024, United Arab Emirates.

He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority , the Dubai Economic Security Center since September 5, 2020, and the Dubai Electronic Security Center, Vice Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center , a member of the Supreme Space Council since October 7, 2024, the Dubai Council since 2020, and the Dubai Free Zones Council . He has also been the Commissioner General for the Security and Justice Track in Dubai since 2020.

His career began when he joined the first batch of candidates at the Dubai Police Academy in 1987. After graduating in 1991, he joined the General Department of State Security team within the organizational structure of the Dubai Police General Command , and assumed many tasks in various fields of security and intelligence work.

He played a leading role in achieving the objectives of the security system of the Emirate of Dubai at the local and international levels, and progressed in his career path until he held the position of Deputy Director of the General Department of State Security by decree of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, on March 1, 2004.

He held several positions, including: Director General of the “State Security Agency in Dubai” between 2017 and 2024, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Specialized Communications Corporation “Nidaa”, which he co-founded, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Federal Authority for the Security of Ports, Borders and Free Zones”, Member of the “Supreme National Security Council” for the Emirate of Dubai, Member of the “Supreme Police Council”, and Membership of many legislative committees that contributed to the development of laws and legislation in the Emirate of Dubai.

He managed many high committees and specialized teams to uncover the mystery of most security issues and those related to state security. He represented the State Security Department in Dubai within the organizational structure of the “Dubai Police General Command” on many international occasions inside and outside the country, and participated in supporting international efforts to combat terrorism and organized crime.

He received a number of medals, most notably the “Excellent and Loyal Service Medal” after spending 10 years in the “Dubai Police”, the “Excellent and Loyal Service Medal” after 20 years of service in the police force in the “Dubai Police General Command”, the “Golden Jubilee Medal” and the “Security Cooperation Medal”.

He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General on 14 July 2021.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Diploma in Police Sciences from the Dubai Police Academy in the UAE.
