Former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Gas and Industrialization Company "GASCO" , Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He was a member of the board of directors of Marathon Petroleum Corporation in the United States, Halliburton Corporation, and the Saudi Electricity Company .

He also held several positions at Saudi Aramco , including: Board Member, Senior Vice President of Industrial Business, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Refining and International Business, Vice President of Planning, Vice President of Marketing and Sales, and Operations Engineer.

He assumed the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company “Petro Rabigh”.

He obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of California in the United States of America in 1979, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same university in 1977. He also completed the Advanced Management Program from the University of Pennsylvania in America in 1995.

He died on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
