He is a consultant at the same center, an ENT consultant at Burjeel Hospital , and an assistant professor at the University of Sharjah since January 2014.

He is a member of the British Medical Association, the Emirates Medical Association , and the Emirates Otorhinolaryngology Society.

He held the position of Chairman of the Higher Degrees Evaluation Committee at the Ministry of Health and Community Protection , and participated in teaching in the field of otolaryngology through the Emirates Medical Association.

He has over 27 years of experience in endoscopic ear surgery, cochlear implant surgery, treatment of vertigo and tinnitus, and has a number of research papers in the field of otolaryngology.

He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree in 1993 from the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom, in addition to a fellowship in Neurology from the University of Toronto in Canada, and a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS).
