She has been a member of the Board of Directors of Air Arabia since March 14, 2023, Ajman University Innovation Center.

She was a member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Ajman, the Cybersecurity Council, the Emirates Council for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transactions, and the Advisory Board of the College of Computing and Informatics at the University of Sharjah, and held the position of Acting Director of the Ajman Digital Department.

Shahil held the position of Director of the Sharjah e-Government Department, Director of the Project Management Office at the Government Information Department, and Programmer Analyst at the same department, She also represented the UAE in many local, regional and international forums.

She received the “Distinguished Employee Award” from the “Sharjah Government” in 2009.

She holds a PhD in Business Administration in 2021 from Abu Dhabi University, a Master’s in Business Administration in 2011 from the American University of Sharjah , Master of Strategic and Security Studies in 2022 from National Defence College at United Arab Emirates, and a Higher Diploma in Software Engineering, and she has completed numerous training courses in the fields of leadership and technology.
