Gamal Al-Sharif's Bio

General Manager of Dubai Media City and Dubai Studio City, which are part of the media group of TECOM Investments, a member company of Dubai Holding. In his current position, Al-Sherif is responsible for achieving the strategic and financial objectives set for the two units and ensuring the development of the project’s technical and social infrastructure.
Before joining Dubai Studio City, Al Sharif was the Chairman of the TECOM Advertising Committee, where he contributed to the organization, growth and development of the advertising department.
In 2002, he received the Sheikh Rashid Award for Educational Excellence in International Marketing. He also received a certificate of appreciation from the Dubai Government Excellence Program in 2003. Al Sharif holds a master’s degree in international marketing from the University of San Diego in the United States.
