She is the Director of Digital Media at Dubai Channels Network, and the Founding President of the Global Social Media Club UAE Chapter.

She entered the field of digital media from its beginnings in 2009, when she launched the first virtual social community called “Emiratweet”, which was very popular in the communities of the Emirates and the Gulf countries.

As a result, the Dubai Media Incorporated decided to appoint her and entrust her with establishing the first new media department in the Foundation and in the Government of Dubai. Heba managed the department, including organizing its uses on social media sites, smart applications, websites, social media accounts and digital services.

AlSamt contributed to the inclusion of the UAE as a member of the Global Social Media Club as one of the Middle Eastern countries. In addition, she is an advisor to a number of government departments in the UAE.

She held several positions at the Dubai Media Incorporated, including: Director of the Awaan Digital Platform, Director of Digital Media and Marketing for the Radio and Television Sector, and Director of Digital Media. She was also a trainer at the Dubai Entrepreneurship Academy, a senior consultant at TECOM Group, and a member of the Women’s Sports Committee at the Dubai Sports Council.

She won the Arab Woman Award in the digital media category in 2017, the Middle East Leadership Excellence Award in 2016, the Women Leaders in the Digital World Award in 2016, the Most Influential in Digital Media in Asia Award in 2015, in addition to the Businesswoman Award in 2010.
