Deputy Director of Trade and Investment at the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority , United Arab Emirates.

He served as Executive Director of Public Transport at the Abu Dhabi Department of Transport between 2009 and 2013, a land transport consultant in the same department, a project leader at Sama Dubai Company between 2007 and 2009, and Director of the Public Bus Department at the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai during 2006. And Director of the Traffic Engineering Department at the same authority between 2005 and 2006.

He also held several positions in the Dubai Municipality , namely: Head of the Road Planning Department between 2004 and 2005, Head of the Intelligent Transportation Systems Unit between 2002 and 2004, Traffic Engineer between 1999 and 2002, Site Engineer for De Leuw Cather International Limited between 1998 and 1999, and Engineer Trainee between 1997 and 1998.

He holds a master’s degree in transportation and operation engineering in 2001 from the University of Newcastle in the United Kingdom, a postgraduate diploma in real estate development from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 1997 from the United Arab Emirates University .
