She is a fellow of the Middle East Public Relations Association ( MEPARA ), a member of the advisory board of Meta Middle East, and a member of the Dubai External Communications Committee.

She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation , the Dubai Women Establishment , Malta Real Estate Company, the Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training (CERT), and the Warsan Waste Treatment Centre. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Colleges of Technology and the College of Business and Quality Management at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University .

She served as Assistant Vice President for Marketing and Business Development at Citibank UAE, Marketing Director at the same bank, and Vice Chairwoman of Dubai First and the Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA).

She also served on the boards of Khaleej Times, TECOM Group , and Hala China.

She holds a Master's degree in Organizational Excellence with honors from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom in 2006, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Higher Colleges of Technology in 1996, and a Higher Diploma in Business Administration from the same colleges in 1994. She is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program from INSEAD in the UAE in 2014.
