He holds several key positions, including: Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Mal Capital Company , and Member of the Board of Directors of the National General Insurance Company .

Bin Kalban began his career by working for the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi in 1983. He then held many positions inside and outside the United Arab Emirates, including: General Manager and Board Member of the Gulf Investment Company in Singapore between 1992 and 1995. He was Vice Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors between 1995 and 2002. He also worked in the insurance sector between 1998 and 2017, where he held the position of Member of the Board of Directors, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Arab Insurance Group.

He chaired the Board of Directors of the Emirates Islamic Bank between 2000 and 2013, and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates International Bank, which is currently known as the Emirates NBD, the Asian Islamic Bank in Singapore during 2008, and the Ajman Bank .

He also held the position of President and Member of the Board of Directors of “ Union Real Estate Company ” between 2009 and 2017. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of: “Arcapita Group” in Bahrain, “Africa Crest Education Holding Company,” “Sipchem Group” and “ Namaa Company .” Chemicals in Saudi Arabia.

He has 27 years of experience during which he held management positions in the investment and financial sectors, insurance, real estate, industry, and education.

Bin Kalban holds a diploma in business administration from Arapahoe Community College in the United States of America, and a bachelor’s degree in management from Metropolitan State University in the same country.
