He has 22 years of experience in structured finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, strategy, financial planning, risk management, restructuring and business re-development, where he held the position of Chairman of Abu Dhabi Ship Building Company between February 15, 2023 and February 16, 2024, CEO and Managing Director of EDGE Group from January 31, 2022 to January 2024, Head of Alternative Investments and Mergers and Acquisitions at ADQ Holding Company between 2021 and 2022, and was a member of the Board of Directors of Aldar Properties Company between 2011 and 2021, Waha Capital Company between 2009 and 2018, Abu Dhabi Finance Company, Dunia Finance Company, and Mesero Investment Management Partners Company.

He held the position of Chief Financial Officer of the Petroleum and Petrochemicals Sector at Mubadala Investment Company ( Mubadala ), Chief Financial Officer of Mubadala Petroleum Company, and Head of Finance and Energy at Mubadala Investment Company ( Mubadala ) between 2014 and 2017. He joined the Structured Financial Instruments and Capital Markets Unit at the company in 2004 and progressed through the ranks there, where he worked as a senior advisor to the head of the unit between 2012 and 2014, an advisor between 2009 and 2012, a manager between 2006 and 2007, and an assistant between 2004 and 2006. He also worked as an assistant at Dolphin Energy Company, one of Mubadala’s companies, between 2004 and 2006.
